"It's a big week," offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said. "Pat's banged up a little bit right now, and Ryan's stepped up his role in reps this week. We make that decision on Saturday nights, as far as who's going to be there. He's definitely closer, and if called upon, he's ready to play.
"If we ask for him to play on Sunday, I think he's ready to go."
Broyles became the NCAA's all-time receiving leader at Oklahoma, and was drafted last year in the second round by Detroit. He caught 22 balls for 310 yards before tearing his ACL on Dec. 2 against Indianapolis.
Broyles says he's finally ready to play, although wouldn't say whether that's the plan.
"I'm going repetition after repetition in practice," he said. "I've probably done everything game-speed to this point. I'm looking forward to just going out there and playing." (MLive)
