Stoops insist he won't bench quarterback Landry Jones: Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops insisted on Monday there is nothing that would make him bench quarterback Landry Jones.

While addressing the Sooners' 24-19 loss to Kansas State on Saturday, Stoops said Jones might just be trying to do too much.

"I know Landry is a very bright guy that watching it he will see he's maybe making too much out of something," Stoops said. (The Oklahoman)
